DDi runs Basic Fire Fighting onsite at your workplace in Rustenburg. We come to you, the course price is the same as anywhere else, and travel is charged by distance. It is a 4-hour, OHS Act compliant course with theory, a practical in which everyone discharges a real extinguisher, and an assessment. Onsite it costs from R605 per person for groups of 20 or more (R790 for 5 to 9), excl. VAT, plus travel.
We Come to You
We have no venue in Rustenburg, so the training comes to your premises, with the training extinguishers, some of them faulty on purpose for the inspection exercise. Your fire team learns on the site it has to protect, so its questions can be about your own building, exits and equipment. Request a quote with your Rustenburg address, the number of people and a preferred date, or call us on 061 566 6010.

The Certificate
Basic Fire Fighting is OHS Act compliant training, in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and the General Safety Regulations, regulation 13J (fire precautions and means of egress, 2025). Certificates are signed onsite at the end of the training for every delegate found competent, when we have their ID copy before the day. The law sets no fixed validity: your company’s internal policy decides, and DDi recommends refreshing every year.
