What Changed With the QCTO First Aid Courses
QCTO first aid changes: Level 1, 2 and 3 are now Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Emergency First Aid Responder, with adult, child and infant CPR.
How much does training cost?
First Aid Level 1 is R1,050 for a seat in a public class in Centurion. Onsite it is R950 per person for groups of 4 to 9, R840 for 10 to 19 and R730 for 20 or more (excl. VAT). Basic Fire Fighting is from R605 per person onsite (20+), R790 for 5 to 9, and SHE Rep Training from R805 per person onsite (20+), R1,050 for 4 to 9 (excl. VAT). 30 or more? Ask us, bigger discounts apply. Public class prices are the final amount, and every course page shows its full price list.
Are your courses accredited?
Our First Aid Level 1 to 3 courses are accredited by the Department of Employment and Labour and aligned to the QCTO curriculum, and our health and safety courses are OHS Act compliant. Separately, DDi is a QCTO accredited training provider, and its Director is a SAIOSH Graduate Member. If you pass, you get a certificate.
Can you train at our workplace?
Yes. We train groups onsite at your workplace anywhere in South Africa: across Gauteng, in Rustenburg and the Vaal, and further afield with travel and accommodation quoted. Onsite prices are the same everywhere, per person, excl. VAT, plus travel. Travel R550 flat up to 100 km round trip, then R5.50 per km.
Can I book a course just for myself?
Yes. Individuals join a public class at our Centurion venue, 99 Hornbill Avenue, Rooihuiskraal. Public classes run there for First Aid Level 1, First Aid Level 3 and Basic Fire Fighting. SHE Rep, HIRA and Incident Investigation public classes are online.
How long is a first aid certificate valid?
3 years. The accredited first aid certificates we issue are valid for 3 years.
