Professional safety audit services
An OHS audit, also called a health and safety audit or safety audit, ensures that the workplace meets OHS Act requirements.
Why Do You Need Safety Audits?
Compliance audits are conducted to ensure the workplace meets the requirements of the OHS Act, South African Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993. A compliance audit will identify hazards, unsafe work practices and procedures, and systems of work that do not meet legislated standards.
Audit Process
Onsite Safety Audit
A thorough inspection is conducted to identify potential hazards, assess current safety measures, and ensure compliance with South African workplace safety regulations.
Receive Compliance Action Plan
A detailed report outlining necessary corrective actions is provided, helping businesses address non-compliance issues and improve workplace safety.
Implement Changes to Comply
Businesses take corrective actions based on the compliance plan, ensuring adherence to legal safety standards and fostering a safer working environment.

OHS audits for skills development providers
A skills development provider that wants QCTO accreditation needs an OHS audit, an audit report and a health and safety certificate. DDi does these audits and certificates, and we have helped many providers get their accreditation. The audit is done with a reputable audit application by an auditor registered with SAIOSH, as the QCTO requires. The certificate is valid for 12 months, so re-auditing every year is not optional, and the accountability sits with management. Need your training staff trained too?
